My Students
I teach 21 Kindergartners! They are AMAZING! They have worked so hard this school year and the hard work is showing. I have multiple learning levels in my class and they have made tremendous growth this year. I have 6 ESL students and their primary language is Spanish.
Most of my students started out as strangers but now they are like a small family. They know each other so well and look out for one another. They are very helpful with explaining different things to classmates when working in small groups.
My Project
I I believe a listening center as well as the books will be good for my students. The students will get to hear as well as read along to some of their favorite characters they've seen on television. The students will hear and see some of their sight words in these books.
Oh the fun the students will have in this station! The listening center will be used mostly during reading time as a center. The students will get to choose between 2 story selections (they will take a vote) then listen and read along.
Sometimes this center will be used as treat...hey who doesn't love to read?!?!
