Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are growing up in an age of technology. They need to learn how to use the various electronic equipment that is becoming more and more part of their learning experience. To that end, they need accessories that will allow them to fully use classroom technology.

My students are learning to become independent and work in small groups.

They love technology that allows them to be working at their own pace with curriculum they must master. I teach at a charter school whose focus is technology and we are working hard to get our students technology-savvy.

My Project

The resources that I am requesting will help students access the amazing amount of learning that can done through technology. Students will be using the headphones along with a classroom set of iPads to learn a wide variety of skills such as math facts, regrouping, phonics and spelling, to name only a few. Students get immediate, positive and corrective feedback with technology. These technologies are an excellent addition to direct teacher-led instruction.
