My Students

I have an incredible group of third-graders this year with an insatiable desire to learn.

My students are hard working and eager to learn.

My students are a diverse group of learners. We have wonderful students from many different backgrounds. We are a title school and a school of choice with over 50% open enrollment.

Our students are truly part of a learning community.

The students we have are from families that have been at our school for many generations. Teachers, staff, parents, and grandparents all work together to make sure we have an environment that promotes pride in our school and a love of learning.

My Project

Chromebooks/iPads are great items to have in my classroom, having 24 of them talking all at once, not so much. In my classroom, we use our Chromebooks/iPads every single day. We used them not only to do research but also use Zearn, a math program, Typing Club, a keyboarding program, Moby Max, OSMO learning programs, and we take Accelerated Reading comprehension tests on them.

My students need access to headphones, so they can listen to the lesson they are learning without having to listen to their classmates' Chromebooks too.

Having these headphones would be a great asset to my classroom and my student's ability to learn.
