Listening to Learn: Help Fund Headphones for Our Classroom

Help me give my students my students the tools they need to succeed! We’re raising funds for headphones to support literacy through Amira, a reading program that helps students improve fluency and comprehension.

My Project

We are inspired every day by the enthusiasm and curiosity our students bring to the classroom. They come to school eager to learn, grow, and overcome any obstacles in their way. Our students are diverse, each with unique strengths and challenges, but they all share a passion for becoming confident readers.

We are raising funds for headphones to support our literacy efforts through Amira, an interactive reading program that helps our students improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

Amira listens to students as they read aloud and provides personalized feedback, but to make the most of this tool, each student needs headphones to focus on their lesson without distractions.

The headphones will make a significant difference in our students’ learning by allowing them to hear the program’s feedback clearly, practice pronunciation, and engage with the lessons at their own pace. With this individual focus, our students can build essential literacy skills more effectively and confidently.

Our goals for this project are simple but powerful:

1. Help every student become a more confident and skilled reader.

2. Ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed.

3. Create a focused, supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.

What makes our students special is their resilience and determination. Despite challenges they may face outside the classroom, they come in each day ready to learn and grow. With the right resources, we believe they can achieve great things. Your support will help empower them on their literacy journey and set them up for success.
