Every Friday, I visit each classroom from Kindergarten through 8th grade and celebrate students who achieved perfect attendance for the week. What might seem like a small treat has become both a joyful weekly moment and a powerful motivator.\r\n\r\nThanks to this simple but meaningful routine, we've already seen a noticeable change in our school community. Over the first five weeks of school, our attendance has consistently stayed above 90%—something our school has not reached since before Covid. This incentive has not only encouraged students to come to school every day but has also helped ensure they are present to receive the instruction and support they deserve.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your support. Your support is helping us take an exciting step toward creating a vibrant, student-centered space that will encourage a lifelong love of reading.\r\n\r\nWith your help, we are building a dedicated library area that will soon become a central part of our classroom community. These sturdy bookshelves will allow us to organize and display our growing collection of books in a functional and inviting way. Once in place, the shelves will help students independently explore stories, discover new genres, and access books that spark their interests.\r\n\r\nWe aim to foster a strong reading culture where every student feels welcome and inspired to read. By making books more visible and accessible, we believe the new library setup will promote choice, ownership, and curiosity. Students will be able to browse comfortably, take pride in maintaining the space, and build habits of independent reading that will support both their academic growth and personal development.\r\n\r\nWhile we haven't fully launched our new library space just yet, the excitement is already building. Students are asking questions about when the bookshelves will be ready and what books will be included. The anticipation is a clear sign that they're eager to engage with the space—and that your support is already making a difference.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your contribution. You are helping us create more than just a place for books—you are helping us build a warm and welcoming environment where stories come to life, and students feel empowered to grow as readers and thinkers.\r\n\r\nWe look forward to sharing updates and photos as the space comes together.
