This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My studious 2nd-grade scholars are currently attending school in person. My students are both English Language Learners and students whose first language is English, they show up eager to learn each day. They enjoy reading diverse books and participating in hands-on STEM activities.
Teaching the youth of today is very exciting…Soon, the youth will be our leaders of tomorrow.
I enjoy teaching them things that will make them successful in the future. My students come from a hard-hit economic community but rise to the challenges put before them each day.
My Project
It can be very hard to focus on working from home. It is even more difficult for students to focus on schoolwork, with all the distractions of being at home. That is why these headphones are so important. My students need headphones so that they can focus on their learning while tuning out what is going on around them. We are requesting a class set of headphones to help with their learning, assessments, and interventions. Having a class set means there is no sharing and all students will stay healthy and germ free with their individual pair.
With headphones, my English Language Learners and students whose first language is English can tune out the distractions and do their best work.
