This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These headsets will help my students improve their English skills.
They will be able to listen to a story, and record themselves reading aloud using the recording microphone.
Students will be able to record their voices while reading and then play it back and listen to their pronunciation. This will improve their speaking skills over time with practice. My school is in the city and has a high population of English Language learners. This project would support them.Every year ESL students need to take a test called the Access test. This test determines their English proficiency in listening, reading, speaking & writing. In order to take the test they need to use headphones with a microphone for the speaking part of the test.
