They will make a world of difference this year as we start the new school year. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated.\r\n\r\nThe headsets we purchased because of your funding are an upgrade from what we were using in the past. The microphone provides the ability for students to clearly record their voices without static. The headphones adjust to fit very comfortably on their heads and are slim and sleek, not at all uncomfortable or bulky. For 7-12 grade students this is very important! The more comfortable they are the more relaxed they will feel when they have to speak into the microphone and record their own voices, which always makes them self conscious and nervous. \r\n\r\nI am hoping these headphones will ease their discomfort level as we continually practice speaking and listening throughout the school year.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for supporting my project and helping my students be successful.","fullyFundedDate":1739570921104,"projectUrl":"project/listening-reading-speaking-support-for/9096811/","projectTitle":"Listening, Reading, Speaking Support for My Junior/Senior ESL Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Keller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7621320_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732578118433","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7621320"},{"teacherId":9517655,"projectId":8823144,"letterContent":"I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of my students and myself, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous support in providing us with new disc golf and cricket equipment. Your contribution has made a tremendous impact on our physical education program, and I am thrilled to share how these new resources are transforming our students' experiences.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the equipment was set up, our students were filled with excitement and energy. The sheer joy on their faces when they saw the disc golf baskets and cricket gear was priceless. Many of them immediately ran to try their first disc golf throw or pick up a cricket bat for the first time. The enthusiasm was contagious, and it was clear that these simple yet essential resources had ignited a renewed passion for sports and teamwork among our students.\r\n\r\nWe have integrated the new equipment into our physical education curriculum in multiple ways. One particularly memorable moment occurred during our first structured disc golf game. As soon as the game began, students were strategizing their throws, adjusting their stances, and encouraging one another. The presence of proper disc golf baskets provided them with a real sense of competition and motivation. Similarly, during our cricket unit, students who had never played before were eager to take a turn batting or bowling, enjoying the thrill of hitting the ball or making a strategic play. These experiences have not only enhanced their physical skills but have also fostered a strong sense of teamwork and perseverance.\r\n\r\nBeyond just play, these resources have opened up new learning opportunities. For example, we recently incorporated a lesson on sportsmanship and game strategy, where students analyzed their performance, discussed tactics, and reflected on teamwork. The equipment has also allowed us to implement small-group skill-building exercises, helping students refine their throwing, aiming, and defensive techniques in a more structured and engaging way.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are planning an intra-school disc golf and cricket tournament, where students can showcase their growing skills and enjoy friendly competition. This initiative will not only give them a goal (pun intended!) to work toward but will also build school spirit and camaraderie. Additionally, we are developing leadership opportunities for students to act as peer coaches, helping younger or less experienced classmates build confidence in these sports.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has truly made a difference in our students' lives. The impact goes beyond physical fitness—it has instilled confidence, encouraged collaboration, and created a sense of community on the course and the field. Your support has allowed us to provide our students with experiences that will stay with them for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1735657730529,"projectUrl":"project/cricket-disc-golf-and-golf/8823144/","projectTitle":"Cricket, Disc Golf, and Golf","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Errara","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9517655_orig.jpg?crop=1242,1242,x0,y538&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740769623983","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9517655"},{"teacherId":9517655,"projectId":8694686,"letterContent":"I hope this letter finds you well.
