Listening Library

My students need Books with CDs for the Listening station in our classroom. Here students follow along with a CD to build fluency and comprehension.

My Students

First graders are just learning to read and write. Listening to books and being able to follow along helps kids with fluency and comprehension. It also helps them to put a word they hear with the written word.

My students are a wonderful group of first graders.

They are excited to learn. They are just learning to read and write independently, and are very curious about the world around them. My students are eager to read books by themselves, and the listening station will help them know the pace at which to read.

My Project

With this donation my students will become better readers and writers. Our listening station also helps build their love for books and helps them learn new things. While students are at the listening station they can help each other follow along, and be able to discuss the book they are listening to.

This donation will make a difference in the lives of every student in my classroom.

In first grade we are building the learning foundation that will help kids for the rest of their lives!
