My students are a lovable set of kids who enjoy life! Many come from difficult situations and a tough neighborhood where there are a lot of factors pulling them in every direction to do the wrong thing.
When they come to school, it is often difficult for them to switch into learning mode without the right tools and materials.
As a school, we hope to help our students by giving them an excellent foundation for their further education. My students hold high hopes for their futures, and I hope to equip them to holding themselves to high expectations for their life.
Each day, my students come to class ready to learn. Personalized learning is a challenge, but having a 1-1 classroom setting has allowed me to work more closely with students than ever before to meet their needs. With the future at hand, I am focused on making sure that my students are ready for the 21st-century working environment and learning skills. Some of those basic skills that will be so critical include using a computer to its full capacity.
I'm requesting Califone headphones allow for targeted and individualized learning for all students and even allows for small group learning, as well.
I am asking for these specific headphones for a variety of reasons. Firstly, they allow students to stay focused during individual learning time. This targeted time gives students the chance to work on their personal learning levels. Secondly, it allows students who are struggling readers a level playing field with information with Text-To-Speech capabilities on the computer. Finally, it will allow students to work at their own pace, or in small groups. With our headphone splitters, students can listen to the same information and research together - decreasing the chance that one student will overcompensate and do more work than others.
