My Students
Our students are in fourth grade, ages 9-10. We have a diverse population both culturally and economically in our area. We are a low-income school. My students have positive attitudes and are hard workers. Our students have the desire to succeed. Our students are excited to come to school and learn. Knowledge is power, they can do anything and be anything! They are motivated and want to learn. We want to keep a positive energetic environment in our classrooms. With support, guidance, and encouragement, they can accomplish anything.
My Project
I am requesting headphones which are a necessity in education today. My students need headphones for supplemental learning programs in the classroom for online learning. Trying to make a blended classroom requires online learning.
Being able to listen to a lesson as many times and a student needs is important.
My students will use these headphones for programs like Spark Video and Flipgrid, which require a microphone. My students who are learning English as a second language often need to listen to a phrase or word and record their voice saying the phrase or word.
Technology is critical for education and a successful learning experience. Providing technology and experience with technology is an investment in the future of not just the student, but in society.
