How do you learn in a fun way? Well, I know that first of all, I need a good pair of headphones to be able to concentrate. I also need a notebook to be able to write things down in. Both of these items are the top two priority things on this donor's choose project.
I also like to concentrate on my work when I can have a clean space to focus on my learning.
That is why I am asking for tissues and Lysol wipes. My students are not able to provide these things at the beginning of the school year so I have to come up with a way to provide it for them.
I work in an inner city school where 100% of the kids qualify for free and reduced lunch. Students do not get all the same goodies that we can get. They don't have the money to just run and grab a candy bar from the local store. I like to be able to give my kids candy or mints in class to help them focus and learn. I love to hand things to them when they are working hard. That is why I am asking for some candy. These students are amazing and wonderful, and I would love to show them an extra way that I care about them.
