My Kindergarten students enter my classroom in September as beginning readers. All of them enjoy looking at books and listening to books. More classroom classics read-alongs would be a dream come true.
My students are inspired, creative, thoughtful, and full of questions!
In the classroom I have a portable CD player so students can sit at a listening center and listen to stories that are being read to them. They also hold a copy of the book to help them with concepts of print. A listening center helps them build their vocabulary, reading comprehension, and fluency skills.
I would love to enhance the listening center and add more audio books with a selection of books on CD for students to have a wide variety to choose from. These resources will allow my students to improve their literacy skills and become better readers. They will truly appreciate their enhanced listening center. Thank you for your support!
