My Students

I am a teacher of the best grade in the world…Third Grade! My students are absolutely amazing. They are well behaved and kind to one another. I am so proud of how brave and willing to learn they are. They are always striving to be the best kids they can be. They are leaders who plan on leading the world in a great direction someday!

I have 23 hardworking and enthusiastic learners in my class.

They put so much energy into everything they do. It brings a smile to my face to see them engaged and wanting to learn everyday.

My Project

Third grade is a crucial time for reading fluency. Students are moving from learning to read to reading to learn. Fluency plays a major part in that transition.

The headphones will help my students work independently and hear fluent reading from online books.

So much of our work these days is on the computer and many students are not able to provide headphones for themselves.

The fluency phones and timers will allow students to practice reading fluently to themselves during reading center time. The page protectors and dry erase markers will be part of their fluency bags that they will use each day. The magnetic hooks will hold each students fluency bag on their desk.
