Listening Ears

Help me give my students the opportunity to use headphones as part of their learning tool in the classroom. Technology is an important part of our instructional day, our students need to be able to listen without distractions.

My Students

I work at a Title 1 school which has been my home for the past 13 years. I have had the pleasure of working with Pre-K, K, 1st, and 2nd grade. It is a pleasure to introduce my wonderful students to you, they are exceptional and possess many wonderful talents.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and different abilities.

I encourage my students to embrace the things that they can do and let me worry about their challenges. Many of the families that I serve are often faced with many financial challenges that may make their living situation transient or doubled up in living with multiple generations in the home. As, complex as the situation may be at home, my students are provided with a safe haven in our classroom to help

My Project

Our students are faced with a variety of mixed abilities and learning styles. They are easily distracted and requires one to one assistance to enhance their learning in the classroom.

I am helping my students close their instructional gap with the use of technology, small group instruction and a combination of blended learning experiences.

The iPad cases and headphone storage will help my students keep their technology safe and secure and teach them how to take care of classroom materials. My students will be able to focus during intervention with minimal distractions. My students will be able to take the headphones home as well to complete online activities that will help them come closer to meeting their educational goals.
