My students need a set of speakers to be able to listen to educational videos and presentations that are shown on the classroom. We also need a color printer to print name and book labels.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a 2nd Grade bilingual classroom in a Title I urban Dallas school. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are LEP (Limited English Proficiency) and come from low income households and immigrant parents.
These little kids are hard working, committed and eager to learn about everything that surrounds them.
Regardless of their household situation where most parents work 2 or even 3 jobs, my students strive to fulfill their classroom duties and homework.
My Project
Visual and auditory learners will benefit from a set of speakers that can present educational content at the right volume. Laptop speakers and not powerful enough for students to listen clearly.
A color printer will allow for students to have academic content printed in color for a rich learning experience.
I will also allow to color code materials and supplies with labels as well as printing classroom schedules and test data in color to make it easier to read and compare different kinds of data. Classroom items are also labeled in English with blue letters and in Spanish with red letters.
