This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students all work very well during independent time. I feel that by adding something fun to the mix is just what they need to change the dynamic of the classroom for the better. This Toniebox that has been requested is a great way to bring books to life and even incorporate songs every once in a while.

Listening comprehension is an undeveloped skill that a lot of students still lack.

This project will help us fix that!

The items requested will bring excitement and engagement to class. I believe that by having songs in the background during independent work time will help keep students on track. They will also be able to listen to stories during the day which will at times be able to match the book they are reading. This will be a daily use for students. I hope they will be just as excited.
