Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In my classroom, each student has an iPad that they are able to use. The problem is that when 5 students are using their iPads to listen to a story, the other student also want to hear the story they are listening to.

Having headphones for each student, that are very durable, will help to ensure that every student has headphones to use with their iPad.

Students will be able to complete their listening center independently and without interrupting other students learning. Creating independence is very important in 1st grade and giving students all the necessary tools to create this independence is a wonderful gift!
