My Students

My school is a small title one school, which means most of my students come from lower socioeconomic households.

My students are a caring bunch of enthusiastic learners.

They value each others uniqueness. Whether it's their different cultural backgrounds, opinions, or learning styles they know we all have something valuable to share.

They frequently look for new and exciting ways to challenge themselves and promote their learning. They enjoy learning new things each day. Please help support them. Thank You.

My Project

My students love to listen to their favorite books over and over. With a CD player I can set up a special listening center so they can do just that. At the listening center they can independently and quietly listen to books on CD. Literacy is such an important part of school and providing opportunities for children to read and listen to books is a special part of this. This listening center will also provide an opportunity for my students to be independent learners and take ownership of their literacy experience. Thank you in advance for your support and help.
