it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal with this project is to set up a listening center in my classroom where my students can learn comprehension, vocabulary, and other skills by engaging with reading through auditory learning. The majority of my students are English Language Learners who will benefit from using the learning center to build their understanding of print and the English language. The learning center will be a perfect addition to allowing my students to have access to high-quality literacy materials that allow them to engage more with reading
The Lakeshore materials are perfect for my preschool students because they are sturdy and allow multiple students to utilize the listening center simultaneously.
I have a total of 17 students and want them to be able to utilize the listening center frequently in one week. I also have a curriculum with listening center materials that I would like to incorporate into my lessons using the Bluetooth option on the Lakeshore CD Player. I know having the stories read aloud with allow my ELLs to be able to participate in class discussions using the learning center materials.
