Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach two 1st grade classes in a French and English Dual Immersion program. My students are excited about learning and work hard each day as they rotate back and forth between an English classroom and a French classroom. It takes great focus and resilience to transition from one language to another but they do it so well!

My 1st graders are bright and eager to learn and your donation will benefit their growth and development.

They put their all into their school work every day and I am grateful to learn with them.

My Project

The students will use both the Dr. Seuss listening center books and phonemic awareness listening activity to make listening fun with rhymes and music that engage learners and strengthen language skills. The rolling and writing game will be an engaging way to practice and solidify the student's word building and blending skills. They will have the opportunity to work together and making language learning exciting!

Listening, blending and word building skills will be fun and engaging.

The students will enjoy learning and be able to practice skills independently and along with their peers. These will be great activities to use during skill building centers.
