This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is a multicultural community in which students are inquisitive and ready to learn. They love to participate in hands-on learning, group work and are gaining confidence in their reading abilities. Each one of my students is kind and empathetic to their peers and teachers. My students are all very energetic and seem to love coming to school to learn each day.

It is my goal to provide my wonderful students with a warm, welcoming, inclusive, and fun learning environment.

Providing my students with a variety of activities that are both engaging and confidence-building is very important to me. I enjoy making the learning process fun and exciting for my students.

My Project

This listening center would be available for my students to use during different blocks of the day. My students would benefit from having a center where they can listen to stories while following along with their friends!

Please help my students' reading and listening skills improve while listening to some of their favorite stories!

This listening center would open up my students' literacy world. As my students are learning to read and most are still unable to read full storybooks, this device would provide them with independence to enjoy a story even if it is not during a whole-class read-aloud!
