This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our Kindergarten students will utilize this listening center to improve their concepts about print, comprehension skills, sight word recognition capabilities, and their ability to reproduce higher-level vocabulary. The love for reading begins with read a louds and this listening center will be a wonderful way for our students to engage in books and stories they love and can read all the time!

We will use this listening center during our literacy center blocks in order to meet the different needs of our students while encouraging a love for reading and introduction to different means of technology.
