Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These headphones will provide quality sound and improve my students' focus by blocking surrounding sounds. It is hard to find good quality headphones that will last long in little hands. These headphones will help improve our classroom environment. With these headphones the children will be excited to listen to audiobooks and complete assignments with audio supports when using their chromebooks.

Listening and literacy go hand in hand for the language development.

The books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every book in my library is treated with love and care.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that are relatable and interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
