My Students

As a teacher in a low-income school, my students are faced with many challenges both in and out of the classroom. Even though they face these challenges, I want to set each and every student up for success.

During the year, I have anywhere between twenty and twenty-four amazing students in my classroom that deserve the best learning environment they can get.

Each and every student deserves the chance to show their abilities to be the best student that they can be.

My Project

This year our district is starting a new testing program. This new test will allow teachers to break down the areas in a student's studies where they need improvement. Depending on the level a student is at or what type of a problem a student is on, the question and/or answers may be read to them. But, imagine me hearing twenty different questions at one time.

These requested multipurpose headphones will allow my students to hear only their question and focus on doing the best on their own test.

They will also be used to allow students to have a story read aloud to them. Students can periodically choose their own books to be read to them and hear great examples of what a fluent reader sounds like.
