My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. Our children are in need of everyday, basic school supplies. Our classroom lacks things that people assume are there like head phones and printers. Little do people know that most of these supplies are not in our classrooms and have to be provided by myself or parents. Students should not have to worry about have to strain to hear their computers or others hearing what they are working on. They should be equipped to learn in a stress free environment. I want them ready to succeed.

My Project

Having a set of headphones will allow students to work independently and in their own comfort zone to master their computer programs. Headphones are in high demand. We tend to get ones that break easily due to school budgets. A nice, sturdy set will ensure our children will be equipped properly to learn on their computer stations. A classroom printer will allow students to share and show the hard work they have accomplished. This will encourage students to want to work with technology and build their self esteem. These items would be a wonderful addition to the technology we have. Thanks!
