My Students
Our students are the changing faces of America! Most of our students are first-generation Americans. With over 90% of our school receiving free or reduced-price lunch, the need is there.
As a Title I school in East Las Vegas, our students need your help.
Our school is the first and only college prep charter school in East Las Vegas. Our students work rigorously during our extended year and extended day school. However, the success of our school revolves around the people. The teachers, students, families, and donors like you, make this school reach the levels some would see as impossible!
My Project
When we watch personal finance videos in class it is always a struggle to hear as the projector's built-in speakers lack the power to deliver sound throughout the classroom. The Vizio Sound Bar will help all students be able to clearly hear the videos being played. The two magazine subscriptions will allow students to enrich their learning and see the real-world implications of what we learn.
A student spends 75 percent of their school day in listening activities, which heightens the necessity for proper audio equipment.
