My Students

We are a Title One school. Title One money can go to math and language arts, but not extra activities. We are a very diverse population of lower to middle socioeconomic. Our students are 5th graders. The neighborhood they live in is made up of trailers that are about 40 years old, manufactured homes, and then there are some homes that are newer with 2 car garages. These students want to be successful and deserve nothing but the best in the educational endeavors.

My Project

In 5th grade, students will be actively working on the computer during our designated intervention time. Students need to be able to concentrate and focus on their learning, so these earbuds will help them with this. Students will each have their own set of earbuds that will stay in the classroom for use each day. When students need to use earbuds during class, they will be available to them as well. Without these earbuds, students will not be able to hear on the computer and success in the program might be lower. Thank you for your generosity in helping to fund this project and helping our students be successful in their learning.
