Please help my students develop a love for reading!

My first graders love books!

They love using fun ways to read/listen to books as well! Currently, my students crowd around a radio/CD player in order to listen to a book which they share. Wouldn't it be great if they could listen to and hold their own book?

My Project

I am requesting donors to help fund my project for portable compact disc players, headphones and rechargeable batteries. These items will greatly help my students engage in reading and foster a love of books! It is so important to get these young minds molded for literacy. Literacy is such an important foundation for teachers to develop at this young age.

Will you please help me bring portable technology into my classroom as a means for students to engage in literacy and love books?

It would be so great for my students to be able to use these portable CD players and headphones to improve their reading skills!
