My Students

My fifth-grade students come from a challenging, low-income, urban community; 100% of the students who attend our school qualify for free lunch. Despite what is going on outside of school, they come to our classroom excited to learn. I have a very diverse group of students whose backgrounds greatly differ. My students are energetic, ambitious, and determined to learn and succeed.

My students deserve a quality education with the materials needed to help them succeed and provide them with a desire to become lifelong learners.

I strive to make sure my students have the materials they need. My students love to work together in partners and groups, as well as independently. Having the right materials allows them to work in whichever way is most beneficial to their individual learning styles and needs.

My Project

My students use headphones at various times during the day for intervention, testing, career readiness programs, and individual work time. There are many different programs that the students are required to work on each week for a certain amount of time. These new headphones will be an asset to assist them in working on the programs, as well as help my learning support students complete testing at certain points during the year.

My students need quality headphones to help them work independently on their learning goals.

My students work hard, and they are determined to succeed. These headphones will be another tool to help them.
