it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we approach the middle of the semester, I am reaching out to ask for your support in ensuring that my third-grade students have everything they need to succeed during their testing this year. We are a Title I school in a community facing economic challenges, many of our families struggle to provide the basic tools needed for success during testing. Third grade is a critical retention year, where students’ performance can significantly impact their future academic progress. For many, this year’s tests will shape the foundation of their learning journey.
To give these students the best possible chance, I need your help in providing the essential materials that can make a world of difference.
Specifically, I am seeking donations of the following items:
Headphones: Many of the tests involve listening components, and a quality pair of headphones ensures that students can hear the instructions clearly and concentrate on their work.
Pencils: A simple yet vital tool for success during test-taking. We want every student to have the supplies they need to complete their exams without distraction. These specific ones have motivational quotes on it to remind the students of their importance to our community.
Testing Privacy Tents: These are crucial for providing each child with a quiet, private space to work, minimizing distractions, and allowing them to focus entirely on their test.
Your donation can help make these essential materials available to every third grader in my class, ensuring they have the best possible environment to showcase their learning. By contributing, you are directly investing in their success and setting them up for continued academic growth.
