My Students

My students are sweet, creative, inspirational and hardworking. They come to us from many diverse families, all with the desire to be amazed!

Half of our students come from low income households and our ESL population is rising.

With over 400 students sharing the same resources there never seem to be enough.

My students may all come from diverse backgrounds but they have many things in common, they are a Lego loving, technology driven group of 5 year olds who learn by doing!

My Project

Students are finally coming back into the classroom full time! My project is centered around hands on activities to help build skills students may not have received with many preschools shutting down due to Covid.

Students learn faster with hands on activities that allow them to do the thinking and me to guide the outcomes.

The materials that I am requesting will allow small groups of students to work cooperatively, to learn the foundations of reading through game type activities focusing on rhyming, alphabet letter names and sounds and listening to the sounds in words.
