My students need headphones to use with their iPads and laptops while working on individual task that will meet their needs. This will allow for small group instructions and stations that will benefit all our students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
1st graders will fill the classroom with different personalities, learning styles, and backgrounds. Each student brining a special talent to share with others. All of them excited and eager to learn. They will learn how to count to 120, read and comprehend literature, and we can't forget life skills like using appropriate manners, disagreeing appropriately and of course embracing differences.
My first grade students attend a Title I school in Phoenix.
They come from neighborhoods similar to where I grew up. I understand the need goes beyond our classroom. These projects help us educate the entire child.
My Project
Students will use the head phones when participating in small group stations. This will allow for students to work on the iPads that will be set to meet their individual needs.
Sound is an important component to learning.
The headphones will allow for our students to fully benefit from the online learning programs our school has adopted. This includes but not limited to reading, writing, and math.
Having a class set will allow for all students to benefit at their different levels without being distracted by others in the classroom. The set of headphones will be shared with the 1st grade team so that all students will benefit from them.
