My Students

Do you remember the joy of hearing great stories read aloud? My students will benefit from hearing wonderful stories in the listening center, and with these headphones they can do so without the mess of a bunch of tangled wires!

My students are first graders at a creative arts elementary school.

My students are extremely diverse and come from a variety of backgrounds. Some students come with a lot of experience and support for reading, while others have a lot of learning struggles. However, they all have a strong desire to learn and grow in their reading.

My Project

Literacy centers are one of the favorite parts of our day in first grade. Many students love to visit the listening center and hear classic stories read aloud. It's also a wonderful resource for students to practice reading along with an example of fluent reading, producing better readers.

Students can't wait to visit our listening center and hear a variety of stories and songs.

These headphones will allow my students a chance to hear the stories they love and practice their fluency!
