My Students

I have 16 students in my first grade class. They are an amazing group of kids. They are very loving and caring. Out of the 16 students I teach, 7 of them have received a reading intervention. The use of technology helps me differentiate learning for my students. Our school is a Title I school, which means that a majority of our students come from low-income households.

My students are why I do what I do.

They are always willing to try new things and help others. I learn just as much from my students as they do from me!

My Project

The students in my classroom need their own pair of headphones that are age-appropriate for them. They will use their headphones daily to prepare them to be 21st Century learners.

This will offer everyone the opportunity to be engaged in math and literacy skills on their individual device.

Through work stations, students are able to work on different skills at the same time that best fit their academic needs. It is imperative for students to have headphones so they can focus on their learning while the teacher meets with small groups. Help my students listen to their device, learn new skills, and build a love of technology.
