My Students

I have a very diverse student body consisting of Caucasian, South Asian, East Asian, Middle Eastern, and African American students.

I also have English Language learners as well as some students who were refugees; all of my students make my school a diverse and exciting place for learning.

My students are engaged young people, who are both naturally inquisitive and highly intelligent. They motivate me on a daily basis to do my best for them and are far deserving of any support.

My Project

Our class is need of over the ear head phones to improve our learning experiences. With your generous help we hope to make it a reality. I have attempted to make our classroom completely paperless. By using school IPads. Students can use a variety of resources to accomplish their learning objectives. I have created dozens of social studies content videos, basically short lectures that focus on the big ideas of the topic. They then apply what was learned in online quizzes. My students can watch the videos as many times as they want until they understand the concept fully. The issue we have is that it can get a bit noisy when kids are trying to listen and learn at the same time. This can be distracting to our learning. Students have been unreliable in bringing their own head phones and some are embarrassed to admit they cannot obtain headphones. Your generous donation can help kids learn and be successful.
