My Students
My students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, but come to school every day ready to grow. At my school, children learn through hands-on exploration and cross-curricular instruction, supported by a STEAM-focused curriculum.
“What,” “why,” "when," and “how” are words that are embraced and encouraged in my classroom.
Students are agents of their own learning and given the space to investigate their interests. My classroom is a place for students to grow, imagine, build, and thrive, all through learning.
My Project
I work to create the optimal learning environment and high quality experiences for my students. However, the students do not always bring their own headphones and the school has a very limited supply to share.
The new headphones will be used with our 15 in-class student iPads for all subject areas.
They will be used daily for math and literacy centers by all students.
Having headphones allows all students to work independently during differentiated instructional times where they can listen to stories, instructional videos, play math games and explore autonomously!
