My Project
My students can always benefit from extra practice and support to help them retain new math skills learned. Something as simple as earbuds can be key in helping to close achievement gaps in regard to blended learning.
My fabulous fourth-grade students will definitely benefit from having their own earbuds.
We will strive to make as many gains as possible to demonstrate mastery. Fourth grade can be challenging at times. In our math lab, we use blended learning: exploring various online resources in addition to teacher-led instruction.
My fourth-grade students need to desperately replace their earbuds to use at home to help them hear clues and directions given to help solve word problems while using educational online programs. They also need to replenish their dry-erase markers to work out problems on their individual dry-erase boards.
It is very challenging to have concepts and skills explained when you can't hear what is being said. With your help, ALL STUDENTS will have the same opportunity to use their own pair of earbuds and enjoy their online experience.
The earbuds will be used when I am giving instruction virtually to specific groups of students which will include explicit models within smaller groups.
