My Students

My students are driven, curious and getting ready for college and awesome careers. An eagerness to learn and good humor leads to energy and enjoyment most of the time, most days. All of my classes are embracing the learning of US History and Contemporary Issues through hands-on activities, discussions, debates, and group work that push them to be 21st-century workforce ready.

My students are salt of the earth individuals with a strong sense of community and a knowledge of how important education is.

If these are the people who will be leading Connecticut and America in the future, who will be solving social, political, and economic issues, then we are in good hands.

My Project

At N. High School, we have 1:1 Chromebooks for every student. The Social Studies department embraces 21st-century learning methodology and uses​ digital content for students to absorb knowledge and create their own products.

Right now, not every student has headphones or can afford them, so they are being held back from digital learning.

This is really holding us back as learning communities and we need your help to remedy the situation.

I am passionate about preparing students for college and future careers. So many quality careers now involve working with multimedia in some way, the better we prepare students to have the skills they need in this area, the more likely they are as individuals to help keep America a global economic leader.
