My Students

My students are a great group of kiddos! They love to hear stories and sing songs, they enjoy working with partners and in groups. They are kind to one another and work well together.

We are a neighborhood school that is in a close knit community.

People here know their neighbors and the kids all play together after school.

These students love a good challenge and are able to overcome obstacles. We love to learn and grow with each other!

My Project

Everyday in our classroom, we have workstation (center) time where students are able to apply skills we have been learning in kindergarten. I have a station where they listen to fiction and non fiction stories and then report on what they heard.

Our CD players are all 10 years old and have not been working properly.

Also, the headphones with wires get all twisted up and wrapped around each other.

It would be wonderful to have a working CD player and wireless headphones, so the students can listen to the stories without difficulties, and without me having to leave a small group to fix problems at that workstation each day.
