This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
While adjusting to using Chromebooks, my students often struggle to navigate programs without a mouse. They don't quite have the skills yet to use both hands or fingers to scroll, drag and drop. They become frustrated with the Chromebook trackpad and sometimes give up. A very simple solution is a mouse for each student!
These headphones, along with a classroom set of optical mice, will provide an environment that supports the needs of my diverse learners.
My students enter the classroom every day from a variety of backgrounds. They are all very eager to learn and highly appreciative of the opportunities they have at school every day. These children have shown incredible teamwork and patience and encourage each other to be the best that they can be every day. They bring joy to my face every day with their positive outlook and strong work ethic.
Highly engaging lessons and visual supports are extremely important to all learners, especially my large population of English language learners.
