LIS Lifelong Physical Education

Help me give my students opportunities to learn lifelong physical activity skills. Equipment will be used to create the game of Frisbee KanJam, and rope will be used to repair existing equipment.

My Project

Our students will learn new skills and stay active with a unique twist on the classic game KanJam—using repurposed trash cans! By transforming everyday items into sports equipment, we’re teaching students the value of creativity, resourcefulness, and sustainability. Playing KanJam not only enhances students' hand-eye coordination, agility, and teamwork but also promotes friendly competition and outdoor engagement. Additionally, we will be repairing and reinforcing our volleyball nets using sturdy rope, which will ensure that our existing sports equipment remains safe and functional for all students. With your support, we can bring these engaging and affordable activities to our school, making a big impact on our students’ physical health and teamwork skills.
