My Project

My classroom is an intensive autism classroom for students in the ninth through twelfth grade. Our students work hard everyday with well deserved breaks. We take sensory breaks to help regulate their autism and keep them in a place to learn. We also take breaks after a good work session. Liquid floor tiles would provide an opportunity for my students to engage in a movement break by walking on the tiles to make the liquid move. The tiles would also provide a sensory experience for my students who worked hard and need a calming break, by giving them a space to sit and watch the liquid. These tiles would be used day in and day out by a crew that is unmatched in awesomeness!
