My Students

I teach Kindergarten in the small community of Welcome, North Carolina. I love teaching kindergarten because, for most of my students, it is the first time being exposed to a school-like setting. I am always amazed by the growth from the beginning of the year until the end.

My Kindergarten students are bright learners, innovative thinkers, and problem solvers.

They have big ideas and set goals for themselves. My students come for many different backgrounds but they never cease to amaze me in what they are able to accomplish. In my class, I teach my students to leave heart prints by being respectful, caring for others, and showing kindness. Because of them my heart overflows with heart prints!

My Project

The classroom materials I am requesting is a laminating machine with laminating paper. These materials will allow me to laminate station activities for the students to use. By laminating these materials they will be durable to use over and over again.

These materials already have a special place in the classroom.

Stations are an important part of our reading and math small group time. Stations allow students to work in groups or independently while completing task.

Having a laminator will allow me to make more games, and activities for students to use and enjoy. Students will also be able to write on these activities because they will be able to write on the laminate.
