My Project
I want to do a project with my older students where they learn about block printing through linoleum block carving. In this project they will go through drawing out their design, transferring their design onto their Lino black and then carving out their design. I have selected their school colors to print in so that we can instill a little bit of school pride into this project. The printmaking process will include team work because ideally you have at least two people helping each other to print each piece of art. I am really trying to use more interesting materials that pencils and paper! I tried foam plate printing with them and they loved it!
