My Project

Teaching kindergartners is incredibly rewarding. They are at a unique and important stage of development, learning how to collaborate, solve problems, and express themselves while building essential early literacy, math, and motor skills. Kindergartners thrive through hands-on, play-based experiences, and having access to engaging, open-ended materials—like Lincoln Logs—helps nurture their creativity, curiosity, and love of learning in meaningful ways. As they build cabins, towers, and imaginative structures, they will strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. They also develop spatial awareness and early geometry concepts by exploring how different pieces fit together. Lincoln Logs introduce basic STEM thinking as children experiment with balance, stability, and simple engineering. This kind of open-ended, creative play supports both academic and social-emotional growth in a developmentally appropriate way.
