This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Donations to our tennis team project "Limber and Dry" will help procure the stretching bands our players need to maximize their routine tennis stretches both before practice and as they cool down. The added resistance and adjustability that these stretching bands provide will make them wonderful additions to our teams' stock of fitness supplies. As they are small and thus portable, players for both our boys' and girls' tennis teams will be able to bring these bands into the gym for stretching during inclement weather.

The two portable nets we have requested for this project will enable our coaches to relocate tennis practices during rainy conditions, and thereby ensure that all practices proceed as planned.
