Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very special to me because this is the first time they will spend a whole year at a school. Most of my students are extremely excited to learn new things and are always curious. I try to make learning fun and exciting. Unfortunately, some of my students are of low economic status and it is hard for them to have access to technology at home. It is my goal to expose them to that any way I can.

My Project

Technology is a great way to get little ones to learn how to foster their creativity. The Osmo Genius Kit paired with an iPad, helps the students write letter, draw, learn words and learn math all in one kit. The Ozobots will teach dexterity and fine motor skills. Pre-K students will literally become programmers because students need to draw code for the Ozobot to move. LEGOs help the students channel their creativity. Students have to think and build something. What is fun about this project is that there is no wrong answer. Students will be able to think freely and marvel at their creations.

All of these items will help improve the students' lives because more and more students don't know how to think for themselves.

We have students used to copying a product, and there is no originality. These items will help students become original.
