My Project
My two PreK classes just love our bearded dragon, Frizzle. We learned about democracy when we voted to name her. She was a baby, but she's a teenager now and needs a larger terrarium with substrate and a climbing branch. She loves to climb trees, but she's getting too big and falls out...and the kids think it's so funny! They enjoy learning the types of foods she eats (worms, broccoli, strawberries, field greens) and regularly look at her shedded skin under magnifying glasses. She will dig in the substrate to help burn off her excess energy.
