Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are in need of some lightweight stackable chairs. Our current chairs have been around for generations. Although, they are built to last a life time, they are not very comfortable to sit on. They are also too heavy to put on top of our tables. This is important when it comes time for the floor to be mopped. Our current chairs are also problematic because they are so heavy they disturb the classroom below us. I have tried putting tennis balls on the legs, but they have to be regularly replaced.
